Tunnels at Heathrow Airport14th International Symposium on

Aerodynamics and Ventilation of Vehicle Tunnels (ISAVVT 14)

Dundee, Scotland, UK: 11 - 13 May 2011

The previous conference theme provided a framework for consideration of the issues facing engineers today in an environment of extensive knowledge and often under severe pressure on costs.  In 2009 the thought provoking debate and discussion forums were very successful part of the programme.  Once again the audience had the opportunity to explore collectively two more topical subjects and to hear the Sir Alan Muir Wood Lecture, given by Mr Art Bendelius, formerly Senior Vice President, Parsons Brinckerhoff, New York.

Be prepared to have your view expanded with the benefit of the contributions of your peers and other international experts in the field.  The experience in 2009 from these sessions was that what appears possibly to be a straightforward answer does in fact have many nuances twists and turns according to the experience of others.
